Children ages 3 to 12
After School In 1998, founder and director Vivian Tan developed a unique and interactive high-energy program for ages 3-12 on Saturday mornings for the children of Camden, New Jersey. Providing a safe haven and loving refuge to prepare children for success, Kids Alley hosts a creative blend of living arts presentations, educational and academic support, nutritional provisions and leadership development. Our mission is to embrace all children with God’s love and to empower them with His Word.
On Saturdays at 11am, children participate in this fun-filled program at Faiview Community Baptist Church, 2995 Sumter Rd Camden NJ. Kids Alley’s buses pick up the bustling and excited children at specified bus stops and bring them to Kids Alley. Ages 3-6 have a fun program downstairs with puppets, skits, and arts and crafts. Ages 7-12 engage in games, praise and worship, object lessons, and contests upstairs. At the end of each Saturday program, every child goes home with a bagged lunch.
Throughout the year, new school supplies, book bags, winter coats, winter gear, and creative projects with arts and crafts are distributed to the children. Hugging and clutching their new items, children know that someone loves them and believes in their success.
Kids Alley, which began as a Saturday outreach program, has now developed other programs to empower the children for success and victorious living.
