The Christmas Rally The Christmas Rally is the grand year-end
celebration of all the activities that take place at Kids Alley for
the children of Camden.
The children flood into the building with excitement and joy knowing
that they are celebrating Christmas at a place where they can enjoy
the endless liberty of God's love.
During this season, most children are hoping for their favorite toys but for
many of our children at Kids Alley, they are hoping to be fed and warm. Even
though each child receives toys at the Rally, it doesn't end there. Food baskets
loaded with all the essentials are given to needy families. Children also receive
warm clothing, hats, gloves, socks and new warm coats. Some of them keep their
coats on while they are in the house because of lack or insufficient heat in
their homes.
Our volunteers have been known to say that they receive more than they give at
the Christmas Rally. As one volunteer puts it, "The first time I volunteered
at the rally all the volunteers were given a certain amount of time to hug as
many children as they could. I lost because when I got to the third little boy
he would not let me go. I felt that this was the Holy Spirit telling me that
this is where I needed to focus my attention.” Contact us for more info
