Kids Alley - is registered with the IRS as a 501-c3 non-profit organization
and has been given tax-exempt status.
Kids Alley can accept contributions and offer donors
a tax deduction for their gifts. For donors like you, this means your
contributions are fully tax-deductible to the amount allowed by law.
When you donate to Kids Alley, your email acknowledgement
will provide the amount, transaction date, and Kids Alley name,
all the information the
IRS wants you to keep a record of when you donate.

No man or woman is an island. We sometimes take for granted the community that we live in. Camden is suffering but we can really bridge that expanding gap through volunteering. Volunteering is ultimately about helping others and having an impact on people’s wellbeing. What better way is there to connect with the city of Camden and its great need? Fundamentally, volunteering is about giving your time, energy and skills freely. Unlike many things in life there is choice involved in volunteering. As a volunteer you have made a decision to help on your own accord, free from pressure to act from others.

The Goodwill Club-Back to School
We encourage children
to have a winning attitude at the Kids Alley weekly programs. Now, we
have a great opportunity to show them
we believe in
them.
This year, 292 children from Kids Alley received new backpacks and school supplies at three Kids Alley Back to School events. 48 children received new school uniforms, school clothes and new shoes. Thanks to many generous donors, child sponsors, churches and businesses who made the back to school program a success for our children. It was a joy to see the children make their backpack selections with their eyes growing bigger and their smiles reaching from ear to ear when they peeked into the new backpacks and saw the new supplies. The children and especially their parents were thankful.
It gives the children a great feeling of confidence when they can walk into
school on the first day with new uniforms, shoes, new book bags and supplies.
I have seen the smiles and children hugging their new book bags with affection
when they are handed out. It is an expression of gratitude that someone cares.
This is an ongoing project throughout the school year. In February of the following
school year, we get ready to replenish the children with fresh supplies, uniforms
and book bags as needed.
For a donation of $75.00, we are able to provide
two sets of uniforms, school shoes, a new book bag and new school supplies
for a child.
Kids Alley Learning
Center Scholarship Fund
The program was created as an educational emphasis of Kids Alley.
Many of the children desperately need academic assistance outside of the classroom,
specifically in the areas of reading and math. We currently have forty-seven students,
K through 8th grade, enrolled in the program. Your prayers and financial support
are greatly needed and appreciated.
Christmas Giving
On Saturday, December 17, 2011, Kids Alley and its partners will be hosting our annual Christmas Luncheon for 200 children and their families. Kids Alley’s holiday events are the highlight of the year for our children and their families. Along with food, fun, gifts, awards, and warm clothing, all attendees will receive a Kids Alley shirt.
All proceeds from advertisements will benefit Kids Alley and ensure each child receives a free shirt. In addition to the ad space on the shirts, your company or organization’s information will be displayed on the Kids Alley website and newsletter for a specified period of time. Please see the attached pricing sheet for further details. The deadline is Nov. 8th.
